The price tag on the 557 alone is enough to scare people off. Concept had a 44' CC at Ft. Lauderdale with a pair of the 557's on the back. Top of the line boat. The price increase going to the 557's over 3 300 Mercs was over $200K and it was about 4 mph faster overall. $50K/mph? That's a big step.

Even odds but I bet the extra HP more than makes up for the weight.

RR, do they have any idea how fast that thing will run with the twin 400s.

BTW, MTI is coming out with a mid 30'something Cat with outboards, I guess they're going to compete against DCB.
