So I sold my 2500 HD a few months back and realized that going to Home Depot just isn't the same in a car. Wife wasn't a fan of a mini truck or a slammed out 90s dually so I had to go a little further back.
Found this bad boy at the Pomona swap meet yesterday. Shook on it and finalized the deal today.
One owner, completely original 1965 Ford 250 with a 352 and 4 on the floor. 112k original miles.
58143
Even the interior was in fantastic condition as it had a seat cover on it it's entire life while staying in a garage.
58144
Going to dig driving to and from the hardware store in this bad boy.

The fact that it's all original will dictate what is done if anything. From a maintenance standpoint, just need to rebuild the master cylinder and that's about it. The originality of it will prevent me from going way overboard with engine swaps and the other things I had in my mind when I was looking for a 65 Chevy project. Will probably change the front to disc brakes for safety reasons but other than that.....nothing much.

My father in law bought the 55 a year after graduating high school.
He put a 312 in it back in the day.
The 68 he ordered with the samoan coral ext.
A few years back he said he was just going to clean up the 68 as a daily driver.
Everything he has is nice, so $60,000.00 later it was done

I like it! Those days were when trucks were trucks! I have a close friend with a '57 Chevy half-ton that just kills me, it's so nice. You know, I'm not really a "truck" kind of guy, especially as my only vehicle, but I wouldn't mind having a cool truck as a second vehicle, then again, where do I put all these toys if I did?

I like the new dash cap you've got there. The truck is really coming into it's own. Hey,....it looks like a '65-'66 Mustang steering wheel in the last shot......Is it? If it isn't, since the truck is a '65 I'm sure it's darn close...making getting another new one a snap should you need one.

All original. It even has the original seats and upholstery under the seat cover I just put on. Wouldn't mind getting some new springs and I compress the old springs a little too much! lol
