    How long do you go between oil changes using Mobil 1.

    Boat
    Truck
    Class C RV

    In our gas turbines in the power world we always uses a Mobil 1 Type senthitic oil because it would not break down with heat.

    Heat is the key. Combustion engines don't develop enough heat to warrant full blown synthetic oil. At least thats what I read.

    I wonder if a NASCAR runs light weight synthetic oil??
