    There is all kinds of things to do like anywhere else, I choose to spend as much time on the river as I can & with the current the scenery constantly changes. Randy

    How strong is the current there? Lot of boats at that beach looks like a good time!

    My GPS says 2-3 mph but I would swear it's twice that sometimes. That beach where those boats were was across the river from a free concert that was setting up for later that day. After the flood in 2011 there are plenty of sand bars like that up & down the river. Randy
