    2016 Bass Lake V-Drive Boat Fest!! JUNE 10-11, 2016

It is this weekend! Supposed to be 78 degrees on Saturday. Perfect. Come on up and join us

    JUNE 10-11, 2016

It is time again to get your stuff polished and ready to be part of a great v-drive boat show held at one of Central California's most beautiful lakes. For the third year in a row, we are back at Bass Lake, in the upper parking lot of The Pines Resort. For the last two years, the show turned out turned out to be a great weekend with lots of bitchin boats and great folks. Let's make this year even better!

Like last year, there will be a catered dinner available on Friday night - You will need to reserve your tickets along with your show registration so they can get a head count. It was great last year.

There will be a cackle fest Friday night again in memory of Church Mouse and another crowd judged session at noon Saturday during the show.

The Pines Resort is offering discounts on rooms - chalets, suites and spa-suites - ask for the v-drive boat show block rooms.

More information and the registration form for the show can be found on the Classic V-Drive Club of America web site here: http://www.v-driveboats.com/Fun_Stuff.html

If you have any questions, call Brian at (559) 325-7226. (Leave a message if he doesn't answer)

This is our only Central California show so let's show up and support our love for our favorite obsession!

Hope to see you there. Come by and say hi.

Thanks to the Classic V-Drive Club Of America and Brian for putting this thing on.

The show was a lot of fun, full of awesome boats and great people. I couldn't have asked for better weather. It was high 70's and over cast on and off both Friday and Saturday. Perfect!

My aunt lives nearby in North Fork and told us the lake has not been this full in about 6 years. Driving around the lake, she pointed out a rock waterfall flowing into the lake pretty good. Years ago a bar and restaurant used to be perched over the rocks there. Wish I could have seen that. All of the way around the lake you see piles of logs and remnants of branches run threw giant chippers. Chainsaws run all day long, trying to cut down the dead trees before they fall. LOTS of dead trees.

I was surprised how many of us arrived and got set up on Thursday. Most everybody was there and set up by Friday afternoon and like always, about 10 more showed up early Saturday morning. It seemed to me that we had as many spectators on Friday this year as we did on Saturday last year so it turned out to be a full 2 day show. It seemed like we had about the same number of boats as last year, which may have been around 50?
