    Pontoon question.....

I may go take a look at this pontoon boat this weekend if I can get the guy down to $10-12k.

My question is, would this boat be able to accommodate a 250-300hp outboard? It currently has a 115HP with less than 100hrs on it.
I just think that is kind of small for a 30ft pontoon.

    What are your thoughts??

Looks pretty big to me. A 30' should be able to handle 250-300, my only concern would be the weight of that cover.

I think the "real" question is will that pole in the front hold a 110lb hottie...................lmao

Yes, I think it's big enough to handle a 250hp, but I like my first question.

I would guess that the real question would be,,, is the transom engineered for the for a 250-300 hp. engine?

Qua Pati ...............wonder what the meaning is to the previous owner
    .
Even with a 250 on it I doubt it'd get any more than 30-35mph

I think the pontoon boats with a 3rd log are the sporty style pontoon that will take the higher hp motors ,there are also the ones with the lifting strakes on the sides of the reg 2 log set ups that will take the big hp motors. Any of the others are the old style grandpa pontoons that no one wants anymore.
