    My late uncle/gearhead friend used to tell me when that movie first came out / we watched it together... "those tires HAVE TO BE flat on one side", "you have to be able to feel that"... he would say that over and over when the bandit would skid the car for 200' and spin around...

    good memories... AND I really really liked Sally Field and her little perkies back then...

    They broke the mould with Gleason, he is still one of my all time favorites...






    One of my brothers buddies had that exact car with a four speed and big fat Crager S/S - Mickey Thompsons, I thought he was the coolest...
