    fuel water separators

    anyone using fuel water separators if so what type. Motor is stroked 496 chevy 10-1 with mechanical holley marine fuel pump. i don't remember if it's 110 or130 gallons per minute. carburetor is 850 holley marine.

    It's a really good idea in any boat. Some of the screw on type filters have a drain petcock in the bottom to be able to check for water without removing the filter.

    My blown 509 uses one. I'm not sure of the make/model, but it's friggin huge lol

    Napa sells the filters with screw on the bottom, they have several sizes. I took my filter base in and we found one that would fit. I run a single long unit on my Sanger Flat and two smaller units (one on each tank) on the day cruiser
