The Eleventh Hour, of the Eleventh Day, of the Eleventh Month...

We had a VERY nice but cold/windy Veterans Day service today with at least eight WWII vets present. My cousin was the keynote speaker as a retired blackhawk pilot, he and his son both flew missions together as blackhawk pilots in Iraq with the 106th AVN out of Peoria Ill. His unit was the same unit as Tammi Duckworth (pilot that was shot down and she lost her legs). Randy and Andrew Ottinger (father and son) transported troops for well over one year together in Iraq.

Great post shue! We agree on something!!! I concur. I greatly appreciate all who served in any capacity in our military to preserve our freedom and liberties that we enjoy today. It's a debt I cannot repay.
Special thanks to my father who served WWII in the Navy

I'm very proud and grateful to My cousins, Lcpl. Adam, Sgt. Tom and Cpl. PJ. They've served in Iraq and Afghanistan. My future BIL was in the Marines too, I don't have a pic of him.
