    The winter and summer solstice are the shortest and longest days (daylight) of the year. Spring and fall equinox are the mid points where day and night are 12/12 hours...

    5000 years ago everyone knew this stuff (young and old), the "smarter" we get, the less we know about survival in the great outdoors...
