    Orange Black is the new...

    Tribal Flames? Checkers? Not that there's any thing wrong with flames or checkers. It seems that builders are pumping out orange and black boats as fast as they can. In 10 years will we look back at orange and black boats and say wow that is so 2014. If nothing else these boats will be very popular around Halloween.

    BTW, they are beautiful boats and I would kill to own one...just maybe in red and white.

    I've seen a handfull of Dominator boats in orange this season alone. They look great but they will date themselves like all the other decades.
    80's=browns, orange and yellows
    90's=purple, teals, pinks and checkers
    2000's brought the flames
    2010's we get oranges back.

    My 86 was originally all the browns, beiges, and blacks. Before I was into boating in my early teens, my buddies dad's new suburban had all kinds of teal and pink striping on it. I asked why it was all gay'd up. My buddy explains, "He had it painted to match his eliminator." I replied, "Why didn't you have the eliminator painted to match the white suburban?" I didn't understand back then. Hate to admit it, if I ever have all the excess money, I will have my slammed 90's chevy dually with a phantom grill, roll pan, and a little pin stripe because even back then, I knew that was the coolest shit on the block.
