Sundance August 2014

Well I finally made it to Sundance yesterday. Have to say I like the place. It isn't the Sundance of old, but it was definitely a good time. We got there around 1:30 or so, it was kind of quiet. But as it got closer to wet t-shirt time (4pm) things really started picking up. Both the inside and outside bars were definitely crowded. Bar service was excellent and the beers were ice cold. The food wasn't bad either. They have a taco truck in front and inside food was somewhat limited, but the hot dogs were good.

I had a chance to spend some time with the Shubins. They are definitely looking for a sale or partner, but they are excited to see business picking up. Both were in good spirits and made it a point to talk to friends and people while they were there. Someone left the stereo on the toon, so when we were ready to leave the boat wasn't. But never fear, the friendly people at Sundance pulled out a charger and extension cord and in a half hour or so we were back on the water. Thanks guys!

The wet t-shirt contest consisted of 4 maybe 5 girls. I think they would have had more contestants if they kept it a little more professional (if that's possible). Nevertheless it was a good show and everyone had a good time.

Sundance may be one of the best spots on the river to boat watch. imo it rivals Foxes because you can see the boats coming and going for a longer period of time. Shame on me for not taking my good camera. Live and learn. Next time I'll be sure to take better pics.

Sundance is definitely a good time. Good to see the place back open. I would definitely recommend stopping by and have a beer or three
