Anybody Get Stopped at the Windsor Launch Ramp Pull-Your-Drain-Plug Checkpoint?

For the past two Sundays, Arizona Game and Fish has been staking out boats exiting the Lake Havasu State Park Windsor Launch Ramp exit to London Bridge Road. If they spot your drain plugs still in when you hit the highway, they pull you over and either give you a warning or a citation/fine (if they find water in your bilge or 'vegetation' on your hull or trailer). It's all part of the increased attention to the quagga mussel/invasive species problem in the lower Colorado River. Anybody get caught in the enforcement of the new law?

No, but I've seen the guy sitting there with an umbrella at the exit.
I pull my plugs in the wipe down area, I don't need to give anyone a reason to pull me over, probable cause, no thank you.
I was checked about a month ago in the wipe down area by some volunteers that gave me a sticker to put on my trailer showing that I have been notified/aware of the mussel infestation. She said I wouldn't be bothered again, whatever that means

The "sticker" you received for your trailer from the launch ramp volunteer works well if you happen to be traveling from Havasu or Parker and cross a California agriculture border station. The "sticker" doesn't give you a free pass, but agents/inspectors are aware that you have some level of knowledge and awareness of the AIS issue. If your boat and trailer look clean, inspection will be minimal.
