    Found On Road Dead

Well my Ford finally did it to me....it left me stranded. Although I can't really blame the truck as much as I can the Ford dealership. I was headed out to the lake today when suddenly I smelled something really bad and then as soon as I realized what the smell was it started raining antifreeze on my windshield. I pulled over immediately only to find antifreeze pouring out from the engine compartment.

Some of you might recall that I had $5000 worth of repairs done at the dealership last week, well it turns out they forgot to tighten the hose clamp on the radiator. Luckily I was close to the shop I have my boats serviced at so I had them bring me a screw driver and I tightened it up.

When I called Ford they first said that it must have worked loose somehow. I told them it was pretty obvious that their mechanic had forgotten to tighten it. They are still kind of not believing me. I have an appointment with them tomorrow morning. I can't wait to show them how loose it was with this video.

Meanwhile my truck smells like coolant and the sticky shit went everywhere.

I don't think they will give you much argument when they see your video. I've never seen a hose clamp just "loosen up".

Easy fix, Tow it to a Chevy dealer and trade it in.

I can tow to the river with or without my boat, Air running or not and burn 1/2 a tank. I love my Chevy. My Dodge sucked, my Ford sucked I'll stay with the comfort of my Chevy. Fords are good for beating up as a work truck.

    That sucks.

I care a bag of tools in my car, my truck and have one in my boat. Never leave home without tools. Imagine if you were in the middle of nowhere and had to wait hours over one dumb ass tool you didn't have? I even toss a light weight floor jack in the bed anytime I plan on towing a trailer.
