It is every American's "duty" to get out early, shop, and stimulate the economy !!!
You can't do that at work.

Wait a minute... isn't that kinda backwards???
Maybe if we all were at work building quality stuff instead of buying imported goods...hhhmmmm

No, I don't work after Thnaksgiving.
Actually today is my last work day before too

No I wont be and it makes no sense to me why we don't have Thanksgiving on Friday.

The original Thanksgiving was a feast to celebrate the colony's first successful corn harvest. It took place in November over a period of three days and was celebrated with the Wampanoag Indians.

Then everyone went to the Mall.

Thankfully I've never worked a job that I had to work the day after.

Veterans, T-Day and the day after are paid holidays.

Used to be a company holiday.....no more. They gave us an additonal day of vacation and took away the friday so yeah, I'm off but had to use a V-day.

I know my response is very late, but yes, we did work the day after, and it was extremely slow. Many of us, including myself, left around 1:30-2pm. Normally we would work well past 6, so it's a day we could probably be closed.
