QUAGGA MUSSEL INSPECTIONS AT THE SITE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!
I know that some of our racers had washed their boats a day or 2 before the event in 2012 and had left traces of water inside the hull, which resulted in immediate disqualification from running that weekend. This decision comes straight from the county inspector and SBRA cannot do anything to reverse their decision. So please, make sure that you arrive with a boat that is dry.

Also...the county inspector went as far as to look at a thread here on the boards and saw boats that were testing at Lake Irvine less than 1 week prior to the event.. took a screenshot of all boats in the pictures noting the boat numbers and proceeded to disqualify all of those boats as well..

LET'S NOT LET THIS HAPPEN A 2ND TIME... They have made it loud and clear that there are no exceptions on this issue..

    More info to follow soon...

What do they do if it is raining or has just rained as you towed to the race?

We had that same question in 2012... He said that technically, he would have to disqualify ALL boats with water in them, which we all know would kill the entire race.. Fortunately, we haven't had rain since he started this type of enforcement..We will be having a meeting with the officials in February to hammer out the details on this issue..

    More Puddingstone Info

Sorry for the delay in posting updated information.... The meeting with the county occurred yesterday and everything is in order and the sanction has been submitted into APBA. Below is the link to the APBA website which shows all pertinent information regarding hotels, entry fees, pre-entry etc...

The goal is to get all participants registered by Friday afternoon, with only very limited time of registration happening on Saturday morning. So please, either pre-register or make sure that you complete registration by Friday afternoon.

Camping spots are on a first come, first serve basis and fees will be paid when you arrive to the camp area. No pre-paid camping submissions will be honored.

There will be practice on Friday afternoon. Start time will be announced soon.

Also, there are efforts being made to put on a driving clinic using stock outboards for all people interested in getting behind the wheel for the first time! Nothing is set in stone yet and more info will be forthcoming when I get it. If/when it happens, it will be on Friday afternoon.
