Years ago in Needles we had an on duty Sheriff's officer (I think he was on break), take off his belt and boots and climb into Billy's boat. They cruised up towards the bridge but came right back to the beach. Billy said the officer tapped out before the ride really even got started. I remember the cop was a pretty big guy and definitely didn't look like a sissy.
