    Walmart

Why can't they hire people that can run cash registers like Costco? I always find the slowest line. :(

Well.........Costco has the longest tenure of any retailer in the USA, they pay more than any other retailer in the USA and they have the happiest employees of any retailer....other than that there is probably no good reason

    Walmart

Because Costco pays their employees more than Walmart pays.

Keep in mind when you're in a hurry it always takes longer

    Oh and Happy Shopping!

Side note: my law school Dean Emeritus, who I did my thesis with, was one of the attorneys who represented the Price family during the Costco-Price club merger. Needless to say, his $130,000 plus teaching income was donated back to our school bc well he just didn't need any more money super great guy!

Good explanation. It would seem this is a bottleneck of sales for the largest retailer in the world though. It's the same at Sams Club too.

They got lines at Costco too .............Actually the Costco in Henderson has to be the worst one I've ever been in and I've been in Costco's all around the USA, Hawaii, Canada, THE UK and even Taiwan and I can say unequivocally that Henderson is THE WORST!!!!

I realize there are choices for places to shop, but I needed a new coffee maker and knew they had the one I wanted. Oh well, take my licks.
