Who dislikes winter and no boating???

Man, I already miss summer and all the boating content. Yes Jim, we know you're a lucky bastard and your boating season is still going strong in FL. Just out here in CA and AZ we are finally experiencing some not so boating weather... I think it will be 65* today in OC.

So besides boating what does everyone do in the winter time to keep from going crazy? Post pics of what you like to do; travel, sand cars, snowboard & snow ski, sports with the family?

Me I love going to my son's Pop Warner Football games but this weekend is his last game or going to my daughter's Tae Kwon Do classes. I might join in a bowling league just for fun... That is the only thing I know where you get better as you drink.

I don't necessarily dislike Winter. We spend a lot of time in the heat in the summer, so I kind of like the break. But we also don't stop boating. We just use a different boat. Not unusual for us to go fast Thanksgiving week, or in December, or January. February is kid of tough, but we never stop boating, we just slow down a little

I like winter because I usually sleep better. We put the flannel sheets and blankets back on the bed and have our coffee on the porch.

Oh gawd, I'm getting old. LOL

I like winter only because there's no hurry to get up and get on the water, then come back and clean up the boat etc. Now our days are spent in Laughlin making donations to the casinos or in the desert going for a drive.

Where do you go boating in the winter? Havasu and Parker still?

This could be something cool to get a group of people together and head out to Havasu and chill.

If it were in the 60s, we would still be boating up here (PNW). ;-)

The 4+ months of winterized existence up here is spent planning and buying boating upgrades. No wrenching allowed during sun/cloudy months. Gotta take advantage of every boating-worthy day.

Yes. Not uncommon to do a close the bar run with blankets on board

We like snow sports too, just for vacation (week is enough), snow skiing and playing in hottubs, just don't like shoveling or driving in it anymore, it gets cold out here too, sorry, don't mean to rub it in.

I dislike the cold! Refuse to put on a "winter coat". I hate the bundled up attire...miss my bikinis and miniskirts :(

I try to be like a winter ant and save up for the spring and summer :(
