I got my number from the boat my dad was crew cheif on, I was about 15 and went to almost all of the races, one of the best times in my life

It helps to be good friends with the Legends of the Crackerbox class. Plus I try to pick their brain as much as possible so when I am that age, I can share the History of the class...

In regards to the Enduro, RD is a buddy of mine and I hope the race goes well for him. Out of respect for his deal, I won't get into what I think of his race director

According to an old powerboat magazine I have (1968), (while building the first boat) a friend of the original builder walked into his shop and said; "that boat looks like a cracker box". The name stuck.

I am not sure, but I am going to Bob Pattersons shop in a few days. I will try to see what kind of info I can dig up.
