Hard to say. Its prob only half as strong as the media is making it out to be. It will then prob turn right instead of left. Questions like this are exactly why ill take earthquakes over any other natural disasters. They hit unannounced and are over quickly. Tornados u might get 15 min to scramble then u have to worry if ur house is gonna be spared. Hurricanes leave u wondering for 2 weeks if u should evacuate. By the time the decsion can be made ur a few day behind the power curve.

I would probably get out of dodge, not worth taking a risk.

Looks like Jersey is going to take a direct hit. Hang onto your hats folks.

Headed out to sea didn't turn out well for the HMS Bounty:(
Very sad to hear that the tall ship was lost.
Last I heard one of the crew still un accounted for. Hope for the best for all involved.

Just heard that it was the Captain of the ship lost. Still not found:(

My thoughts exactly. Also, at least with an earthquake your house stays in one location and not spread out across city blocks from the enormous winds.

Sure looks like a mess from what I saw on TV news last night.
