    Sucks trying to be scammed

    Neighbor's remodel caused me a flat last week
    1/4-28 Philips screw an inch long straight thru the tread
    :(
    Put spare on early morning and plugged it when I got home
    Wish I would have knew what was happening, could have plugged it on the truck easier, but didn't check while hurrying to get out the door to work in the dark

    I’m soooo paranoid about picking up screws and nails...

    My shop is going to have a tire changer and balancer so I can deal with leaks properly.


    Hav you noticed at car washes where truck beds get washed out along with screws/nails? It’s pretty common around here to find a car wash bay with for or six or eight drywall screws or nails laying around. It’s enough risk that I just pay for a drive through touchless wash rather than deal with ruining a good tire...
