    I'm getting a new one done this winter, vented.. But leaving it tall, maybe even taller if I can make it work.. Climbing in and out over the back with it low would suck, besides mine is a closed bow as well, and you can't get out over the front

    Another point for the taller Bimini, is my boat has bolsters, and I stand up a lot while docking, and when in the rough stuff.. Ducking down for a Bimini would suck..

    I'll leave the "looking cool" chit for you guys

    you're right,stand up bolster boats need taller bimini's
