What is your boats cruising speed???

I see a lot of ads that list a top speed and cruising speed for their boats...What actually is a "cruising speed"???

If my boat does 65 m.p.h. at WOT that is my "cruising speed" 9 out of 10 times.

The flip side of that is if I'm cruising for chicks my "cruise speed" is 5 m.p.h.

It's an ambiguously posted number, just short of WOT that could never possibly be verified with an actual GPS.

I usually am running around 40 mph in my boat which is my cruising speed

In that case i cruise at about 2 knots in the channel. And i tend to do that with 2 nutty lady.
