    1982 Cole Mini Cruiser

We are the original owners of this boat. My father, who was big into jet boats before I was born, solid his Haskell Jet Boat in 1983 to purchase this boat before I was born. He purchased it from Jim Cole off the showroom floor. The story was that the boat was built for Cole's wife originally, but then sold to my dad. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my dad at Cole's shop in Chatsworth and feel lucky to have been around such a legend in the powerboat world. I am now 30 years old with 3 of my own children and since my father is no longer into boating, I am raising them on this boat.

Here is a link to a site that randomly has pictures of the boat when it was brand new:

The boat was fully restored from top to bottom in 1997 and re painted and gel coated by Gary Baca. Interior has been re done and various items have been upgraded throughout the years (gauges, steering wheel, throttle, carpet). The boat is powered by the original 1982 Mercury Black Max Outboard, pushing 200 HP. The outboard was completely re built last year and is 100% turn key. Boat sits on the original Ellis Trailer which has been upgraded with a removable tongue for garage storage along with LED lighting all the way around.

My family and I love this boat and hope to enjoy it for years to come. Maybe one day my kids will be taking their kids out on it!!

1979 Sanger v-drive mini cruiser. Chevrolet 454 LS6 short block, L88 cam, aluminum heads, turbo 400 transmission.
This is my second Sanger mini cruiser, sold the first one and was sorry everyday after selling it, they will have to bury me in this one.

This is pops toy But you see me playing with it most the time gotta luv being able to play with Dads toys lol. Its a 19 ft.Daytona that was found in a field that was a hull that sat for yrs that no one ever did any thing to it .When My dad got it all the wood in the complete boat had to be replaced . My dad and my best friend that is a custom car/boat builder that is one of the best painters you will find did all the body and painted it. The motor started out as a ford 460 board over 30 its a 12 to 1 motor with custom machined com pro heads that have been worked big time., pump has been moved back motor moved forward 12" . This boat was built for my Mom the way she wanted it. She was diagnosed with breast cancer which took her life 1.5 yrs later. The boat wasn't finished, but we kept going till it was done. The trailer is a competitive trailer. No money was spared on the build, best of all parts and custom brackets and hardware.
