    Forum Rules

Quite honestly I'm not big on rules. At some point we will have "official" site rules, until then, this is all we ask:

    Play nice.
Please don't post up nudity or porn. It will be deleted pronto.
Please don't post links to other boating sites.
    Please do not post spam.
Please do not bash other members.
Please do not bash our advertisers.
If you are going to post 'questionable' material that may be offensive to someone in a 'work-place' setting PLEASE include "NSFW" (meaning not safe for work) in the title of the thread.

And most importantly, please do not bash other boating sites.

www.hotboat.com is here for your enjoyment and pleasure. If bashing people or other boating sites gives you pleasure, this is probably not the site for you.

We sincerely hope you like our site and if you do like it, please share it with your friends and family.

Our goal is to bring you as much boating content as you can handle. Across the country. Its going to take us awhile to get things up and running, until then please be patient as things get rolling.

Thank you for choosing www.hotboat.com and if there is anything you would like to see different about the site, please do not hesitate to let us know. We can be reached via pm here or send an email to info@hotboat.com

Please be advised that posting of photographs or other materials with watermarks, copyrighted or otherwise, will be removed. Watermarking of photographs or other materials can imply ownership of that photograph or material, and unless hotboat.com is given permission to display the content of the watermarked material, the material will be deleted. Even if the photograph was taken by you, if it is watermarked by another website or individual, and you give permission, the material will be removed. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, we certainly do not want to censor any material that our members post, but posting of watermarked material can cause legal issues that we would prefer not to get involved with. I hope you understand our concern and will comply with our request. Thank you, HB.

    Thanks again,
    HB

Idk I belong to another forum and we try to keep it PG but the mods are fair if you cross that line. They try to make it family friendly but it's still 90% grown men talking crap.

It now has 35,000 members. I think growth depends on exposure. Those rules are pretty cut and dry and not many of them.

35K is very healthy for a boating site. Hope we get that here shortly!

That's actually a Texas archery site. But if an archery site can get that many members I don't see why a nation wide boating site couldn't.

Maybe at some point there could be sub forums for fishing boats and cabin cruisers... It might help build some new interest. My lowly ole 24' Larson is far from a hotboat but this place is already cooler than Lake Pirates.
