Wind, Wind, Wind and more Wind. The same wind that destroyed the tents at the Lucas Oil race in Irvine blew all the way across the southwest. Including Elephant Butte Resivivor in New Mexico. We didn't get the timing system up and running until Saturday afternoon. The Swdba tries to run a seperate points race each day Saturday and Sunday. They also like to run a Gambler each day. The wind killed those plans on Saturday. Rick Lindgren and the rest of the SWDBA crew got the lights working on Saturday afternoon. The points race was voted out and we went straight into a Gambler.
