    HOTBOAT.com Goes Aerial- Video #1

Go easy on me. First week piloting and the video editing is still pretty tough for me. I anticipate being able to do some pretty cool stuff with this thing once I get better at going vertical. I think I had a whole 3 days under my belt before taking this thing over water.

Good Job!! You did a great job on the panning...especially with limited flight time. You are able to see the camera view on a monitor, correct? Can you post a picture of the RC copter? Once again, nice job!!

Great job! I film my hubby's races GN 369 and it isn't easy to do! So thank you for doing so and sharing!

Thank you! I was quite surprised with how well I did pan, LOL. I have the capability to see the camera in FPV (first person view) but it increases the difficulty 10 fold from what I hear. Still need to get my hands on a video receiver for the GoPro then I will give it a run.

Was also very pleased with how stable the gimble kept the camera as it was pretty windy up there!

    Here's a picture.

So you were just panning blindly? If that is the case, you did a fantastic job!!

    Thanks everybody

Yep, all footage is blind until I load it on the 'ole laptop.

Filming at 30fps there's still a little prop wash.
