I don´t know if there is a english version of this saying but....
In sweden we say it like this: "When the boy gets older, his toys gets bigger"

    My grand dads toy:
A truck that we have been modifying for a long time now. Over 950 HP. 11liter Scania diesel and we are doing even more mods this winter. Lowering the engine 1foot. Moving it back 4 feet, lowering the body and changing the camshafts for better ones. Sandblasting the entire thing as well. New exhast, manifold and fuelsystem. Hoping to get over 1000hp Top speed so far is 205 km/h but during the races you are only allowed to drive 160 km/h. The sound of this thing is freaking awsome! Straight pipes of course

Revving for the people at a local show. One day there was about 60 people around when I started the truck. 60 grown up truckers giggeling like little girls

Have many more pics of the truck and what we are doing with it. I can show you some more if you like!
