When Howard did that it changed the entire industry and reaped him his fortune.
This particular bit is not a Hughes however.
It's a different brand.
The "jets" you can see are where the fluid comes out.
At our average pump rate of 550 gallons a minute, the internal pressure is about 2500 PSI.
TFA (Total flow area) of the jets is 1.856 sq. inches.
The fluid velocity out of those jets at those parameters is 95 fps (feet per second)
