Just want to say thanks to everyone for the nice comments. The Mercury racing 525 package showed up today so we will be wrapping this one up in time for the 4th of july weekend. Cant wait to start testing....... I will post more pictures once motor is completed.

We ended up testing in Lake Havasu and everything went well...... the boat ran 78 mph on gps. It came on plane within a couple of seconds and accelerated quickly. We had plenty of mid range power and cruised easily at 55 mph and handling was awesome. As I had expected there were no rattles or vibrations and it felt very solid, I was extremely pleased. If anyone is interested in a demo, let me know!!!
