Desert Storm or The Lucas Oil LODBRS in Chandler April 24-26?

I'm sure these two entities has no idea they scheduled their events the same weekend. Not sure it really matters much really, different crowd, different fans, different boats, and different reasons to attend each.

Although many of us enjoy both of these events, yours truly included.

Last year Hotboat.com had at least a presence at the Desert Storm Street Party (lol, like 200' worth). Looks like this year we will have exactly zero feet. A tough pill to swallow for me personally. But sometimes change is good

So this year it looks like we'll be at the drags in Chandler. Not sure how much of a physical presence I'll have, so it may just be my 6'3" fat ass running around taking pictures and passing out Koozies, T-Shirts, and stickers. On the other hand it's too soon to tell what I might drag over there. Planning, when it comes to boating or boating events, hasn't always been my strong suit. Did I just stay that outloud? lol

So for those NOT attending Desert Storm AND attending the Lucas Oil Drags, see you in Chandler next weekend
