Now that Eason is considered a COMPETITOR, I'll definitely get you rockin' with a K-24 shirt just to piss him off..

Glen, here is small world story for you since you have a general idea where I live. Steve's brother lives about 10 minutes north of me (by car)

The G model is the one with the glass cockpit bubble, the J has more of a primitive cabin on it.

It is a small world. Guess who I bought my K boat motor from? Wouldn't it be fun to go run his old engine in an open boat against his new setup with his capsuled boat? Imagine how pissed he'd be if he got beat by the stuff he got rid of.

And this is what makes boat racing fun. Because we can rib and poke fun at each other (within limits), yet we all know that if anyone needs a hand at a race to get their stuff on the water the same people we poke fun at today will be there helping us and we would do the same for them. Now once we're running and in and in the water, it's may my boat win, I don't care who the best man is as long as I'm the fastest. I'll take a little luck over skill any day on a race course.

Sweet. Is he flying it for fun or does he have a work use for it? I learned to fly in the little TH-55 . The little ones can be a lot of fun.

He is a pilot for AIR-EVAC out there..So he flies the turbine helicopters and has the Bell 47 for fun.

... Funny, he just sold his 2 seater Schweiter and traded up for the 3 seater Bell 47..

I tell him it is still not as cool as a K-boat...

He must have been Army. Tell him to step up one more size and add floats and he can fly rescue at the K boat races. Pilot, EMT, diver, and Stokes, diver jumps in and rides back in the patrol boat. He can have the best of both worlds flying at the races. Heck his brother might even let him trade toys. LOL. I know I would if my boat was ready to race.
