I dont want anyone to get me wrong, at times I may want to check out a freak show like Party COve or the channel at Havazoo but typically it would be a much smaller group, just family... BUT if your boating with even just 2-3 others it's still a social activity no???
I dont see many folks at the races sitting there with a program/binoculars watching the races and not visiting/socializing with others around them...
I do like reading about boat tech/engine tech/history threads but I'll be damned if I am going to make a comment knowing that someone is going to trash me and call me names and threaten to "bitch slap" me the next time he sees me over my comment/question/input/opinion... FUCK that... And for the record, there will be NO "bitch slapping" of anyone if im around... The person that made that statement knows who/when/why he said it AND knows that its a bunch of B.S.... SO many people just read/look at the pics and move on to a more social thread where they feel that they are among friends...
Funny you ask. Typically I get up really early, go alone and get the good water for a few hot laps. Trailer it, clean it, drive it home and still have all day with the family. Wife has lost interest in the lake. Been doing the heat too long for her.

No need to be unfriendly.
Like dating a bitch that can only hold a conversation about her and her friends,
So I will stick to MY definition of a clique.
Mmmmmm ok.

Met 2MM at Needles a couple weeks ago, first time I met him. Very cool guy by the way. Also met Paul65K for the first time at Needles, also a very nice guy. Each and every one of the "inner circle" folks are actually very nice people, considering I really don't know them that well. Hoping to get to know them a little better actually.
Honestly, I think you'd be hard pressed to get much of a different story from any of the "inner circle" lol
Hey 2MM..........we made the inner circle Woo Hoo!!!

Damn, you don't want to know the visual I just got with your statement. GRADS would have had a field day with that one....

Further; GN7 says he disagrees with "unfriendly." I would too. That is way too harsh a word. A better description might be lack of inclusiveness? Most folks here came over from the "other" board. I see or saw most all these names elsewhere. Unfriendly may fit over there.
I believe there are people, who just like the uber-social aspect of forums. Some folks even seem to need to be liked or be popular on forums. Nothing wrong with that.

Here I thought I was an outsider, considering most of the people who are members here have known each other (on boating forums) since the original Hotboat.com and I've only been on the boards a little over a year. At least I am among good company in the alleged "inner circle" or "clique". Anyone who knows me, knows I am as friendly as they come and won't exclude people, unless you've been an ass to me.
If my posts annoy you, this may help…

Allegedly. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. Apparently, I am in some clique I was unaware of. Hopefully, I don't have to get jumped out like a gang.
