    Why do you want to wait longer(which will make drier) yet you want to keep it wet?
    watering it will help it cure slower, hopefully limiting the amount of cracking prior to the Color coat. But there would be no reason to wait more than 10 days.

    We are actually using a new product on our homes that can be smooth/color coated immediately after scratch and Brown. So far it's worked very well.

    thanks everyone, it's turning into a house finally,..

    the dryway texture is finished in both the garages, went with a spray med. orange peel.....

    the ceiling in the house are done, same texture, med. orange peel..

    they are putting the hand santa fe" texture on the walls today

    Monday they will deliver the interior doors and the shelf and pole for all the closets...

    week from wed, the cabinet go in...

    Might be today they pour. Counter tops Monday and final detail stuff through the week.
    Electrician plug/switching and installing lights.
    To say I'm antsy is understatement.
