I have a question.....why or how is that 17gp boat racing with the other hydroplanes? Looks like it has a gas motor and no wing on the back???

They had around 6-7 Grand Prix boats racing. All piston powered

OK. I don't normally do this, but one more outbreak like that, and I will be forced to request a 2 day vacation for Grads.
Hey Grads, the flat bottoms don't have wings, piston powered, and NO they didn't race with the unlimited either.

I'll try to keep that in mind.
GRADS, the vertical wing doesn't make it a H1. If you look at the boat closest in the pic you will see it has 17 GP designation.
Its a "Gran Prix" hydro. Not a Umlimited.
If there was an unlimited in the group, you would know it. Like comparing a 21ft Daytona to a 36 ft. The unlimiteds are huge.
