Lets Talk Batteries
Boat currently has 3 Interstates. Two of which are shot (stereo batts) and need replaced, so I figure I'll just replace all three now. Should I stick with what I've got or switch it up? Optimas?

I'm sure there will be disagreement, but I like Optimas.

I've ran them in the past and never had issues that I can recall.
If I were to go Optima... Should I go one blue for starting and yellow tops for stereo?

Go pick up a couple Lifelines at Battery Sales Unlimited in Goendora.

I bought 2 batteries at costco for the boat. They were only $75 each and come with a 30month warranty.
I figure for $75 if they last a couple years, I am happy!

Do you run a big stereo?

Are those the same size as Interstates? Or will I need new battery boxes?

If you decide on Optima, they make a blue top starting and a blue top deep cycle.
Starting has dark gray body and deep cycle has light gray body. Sams club has best prices I know of.

I have 2 group 27... wait for it... DURALAST for my stereo and cabin electrical.
1 group 24 of the same for the Boat/engine.
They seem to last about 3 to 4 years, have fantastic power, and are always warrantied ... oh yeah, and they're cheap.
