Hello.

I've been lurking for a while and figured this is a good time to introduce myself. My wife and I enjoy boating and we have a small boat that we enjoy taking to the lake in western Canada, where we live. I'll try to find a picture to post later today.

This seems like a great group. If you see me on the lake, please stop by and have a beer with us.

It's good to see you here, Joe.

I don't really do the facebook thing. I have an account and log in once a year, or so, to approve friend requests that have come in over the last 12 months.

If that was the only way to communicate with my friends, I'd certainly spend a lot more time there. This seems like a nice place. I'm hoping to meet some new and old friends here.

This site seems strangely familiar, like I've seen it somewhere before.

Maybe I should mention that I don't drink beer. In fact, I don't drink at all. I just mentioned "have a beer with us" as a friendly invitation. Anyone is welcome to whatever is in our cooler. If I meet someone at a bar, I'll buy them a beer but I'll probably be drinking pinapple juice.
