Ha ha ha! I was actually good at it. Can still run finish blade. We had a 14M in the yard with joysticks, so I jumped in that one afternoon and bladed out the yard and the road back to my office. Parked it and everyone was wondering who dressed up the yard so nice the next day. The joystick machines are all kinds of fun! I do some project management and estimating, some business development. Having lots of fun anyway.

I'm on a job with 700K yds of dirt. We have a sub doing it with a fleet of '57's and 37's handling the dirt.

To get caught in the rain at Havasu would be to die for since you guys get so little of it.

Sweet! 57's are impressive. Nothing like feeling the ground shake when one goes by loaded. Was running blade for a buddy in AZ years ago and they had a fleet of 57's. The blade would shake as they'd go rolling by on the haul roads. I love big yellow iron. Started as a kid and haven't been able to shake it.

I've known the owners for over 20 years. Worked with them when I was in school at FNF, where they started. My father worked for Empire and sold them all their equipment until he retired a few years back.
