I had someone go through the Ca. Fire Code and there isn't really anything in there that prevents people from gathering in a storage shed. Although the building wasn't intended for permanent occupancy, nothing in the code prevents people from gathering on a temporary basis. The only potential issue could be egress. If we use a pull through, it absolutely isn't an issue. If we use only one unit, we might need to put up a battery powered Emergency Exit sign and make sure the door does not get closed. Other that that, it shouldn't be a problem.

If we all converge on the Rec room, we will definitely exceed the maximum occupancy.

That manager is not with us anymore. She was ok with the party and wouldn't punish us all for one persons stupidity!!

Hard to say. I think one of the people in our group blew a stop sign hours before the party. But we didn't catch them, so they got off scott free LOL
