If the nut was covered would you still be our chief cook and bottle washer?

Too many good sites going away cuz of the likes of Facefook and Cryspace.

Don't get me started on Photofuckit.

Question, are there any other sites that really have thorough photo coverage of events like HB provides (offshore, drag boat, circle boat, desert storm, Billy-B type events)?

There are many folks shooting still shots at the events but where are the photos showcased? Serious question, because I really don't go to the other sites and lurk around.

Looks like you and us (members) are indeed at this time of year with renewing your membership to web host this site. To be honest when I first started here , I was also a member of 3 other boat groups which have now either disappeared or have little to no activity. Hotboat has outlasted most all other groups.$2500 sounds like a lot to me to keep things going for 1 yr. for some reason no one here likes Facebook . Vic Facebook is free save yourself $2500 private group, invite who you choose. There's no cost . It's up to date with software ,uploading pics from your phone will be easier.that $2500 could be used for some swag for us members. I never wanted to be part of Facebook , but my wife has convinced me to join , she has a family group she started which was no cost and up and running in minutes and she invited people to join by invitation . All our info is already online. Hopefully at least you have given another choice on keeping hotboat alive. Btw this is only a suggestion . Please don't get upset if this suggestion is not your thing.

Facebook has been the demise of many sites. But there’s really no way to capture revenue ad dollars from facebook. People don’t realize that. Sponsorship dollars come from advertisers. No advertisers no sponsorship dollars
