If I'm not mistaken, typhoons also rotate the opposite of hurricanes.

There is no difference in them just called something else according to area they happen. The upper and lower hemisphere dictates their direction of spin and thats it. Same phenomenon.

Yep, rotational storms turn the opposite direction south of the equator.
Water rotation of water going down a sink drain or toilet is opposite in Australia than here.

Don't ask me how those Aussies keep from falling off the earth being uspside though. I haven't figured that one out yet.

Its the same with drains and toilets. The upper and lower hemisphere effects the direction of a flush or drain. Counter clockwise in the upper and clock wise in the lower. Hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclons are the same.

But the cars and boats in Australia still race in left hand circles. Go figure.

I've always known this to be true. But if you live on the equator. What the fuck happens then?

U know..... thinking about this a lil deeper a toilet would flush in the direction the bowl jets are facing. The bowl jets initiate the swirl so with that said a toilet flush can be manipulated. A test would have to be done on a tub of standing water where u pull a plug and let whatever happens happen. As far at cyclons typhoons and hurricanes. .... the upper and lower hemispheres dictate spin. Thats a scientific fact.
