    What the Southwest doesn't have any bugs, seems like when we came to Havasu a few years ago there were bugs everywhere....................I guess there gone now.

    Truth be told we almost never see bugs out here when the humidity falls below 15%.........which is about 10 months out of the year.........one of the hidden secrets of the desert

    You mean flying bugs right? Because there are those ones like tarantulas and scorpions on the ground.

    Some scorpions but not too many.....not too many at all for sure. I've never seen a tarantula once in the desert........otherwise I probably wouldn't be living in the desert

    They have bugs the size of my fist in Havasu between April and early June...but it makes for great drunk entertainment watching the giant bug zapper.

    Paul65k probably has a no bug halo around him which keeps the bugs away.
