You mean everyone doesn't look for good deals on helicopters? I keep going back and forth between wanting one to do ag spraying, and just find a nice airplane so I can fly out west to watch some races.

I think I would go with the chopper. There is racing around you, just not a lot of runabouts. I see runabout racing taking a huge dinger very soon. In fact I am looking at putting the GN back to a lake boat shortly and already buying engine parts for it. Not that GNs will be directly affected, but I have to wonder where the races will located at, and/or what the sanctioning body will be.

Nice shots of the USS Midway and the the other tall Ships. Have you gone down there and taken the tours? It's a cool way to spend an afternoon. Very interesting even if you don't like ships.

I have never taken a tour. Maybe I'll do that soon. Sounds like fun.

I know what you're thinking, all those good looking young sailors woo hoo.......unfortunately you will find retired sailors who were on board during the 60's and early 70's......those guys may be a little old for you

I took the Midway tour 2 years ago and found it very interesting. I would recommend it to anyone that hasnt done it.
