This WILL affect the Bond market which will have a ripple effect on the stock market.....but the current momentum will likely offset that....in the end this whole DC mess seems to be a "Non Event" for the market IMHO!!

It abolutely is the thrill of the hunt. Buy on the rumor, sell on the news. Once the rumor hit that the deal would be made, it corrected itself then.
There's a statistic that over 50% of trades are made by Institutional Investors. So chances are if you're buying, one of them is selling it to you and vice versa. Guess who is more likely to be making the right trade?
