    Wait a minute, some guys have drag boats that are 18' and have 1000hp in them that go like rockets and a pontoon boat going 100mph is scary, maybe it's just different, I'd get on it with him, I wish he would ask me.

    LOTO has an OSS race in June that has a pontoon class! Single engine, 350hp max, 28' or less. Looked like a real hoot this year!

    The above is last years site, but they did announce that they were running again this year. Plus it's right in front of my house!

    Seems to be easier to have sanctioned power boat racing in your state. Wish other states would take note.

    I think the hardest thing after the sponsors is getting the permit from the Missouri Water Patrol, just like out West, there's a lot of dedicated boaters in the Midwest.

    LOTO has a core of strength in MTI and Seebolds, probably others I'm not aware of.
