Yeah I'm leaning towards the Nikon, but it's on backorder for who knows how long. He doesn't even let us touch his camera and if we do he's watching us LOL!

In all honestly, out of the box, I believe the higher end Canon's produce better color. I can get the same results, but I have to tweak the raw files a little. I'm locked in to Nikon because the lenses cost way more than the camera itself

My kid has the T3i and loves it. The neighbors have the Nikon and say the same thing. Hope that helps.
