Gotta get one of those 5.8GHz FPV kits from hobbyking.com. The one I got for the quadcopter im building has the range of 500m otb and up to 1km with the upgraded antenna. Its crazy what people have done with those fpv setups.

1km!? You can get crazy with the FPV setups its almost scary.
What frame are you using? Any pictures?

It was. So it hurt when it went in to the drink a few weeks ago. Luckily it wasnt too costly to fix or hotboat air would have been permanently grounded
