My wife will take the girls out for a booze cruise while we are on shore working on the hotrod boats. I doubt she will ever drive the hotrod boat tho, and thats my decision. Haha

My wife has driven the boat a few times, but would rather not. She's mainly launch and retrieve (and she's very good at it)

I've driven NRI's Howard a few times, but I'd rather not...I prefer to be the co-pilot! That's too much boat for me! I'm too afraid of hurting his precious baby! lol If something happened to him, I could get us to safety. I prefer to launch/receive and I'm good at it!

My ex never drove the boat and my girlfriend is scared of it. I taught my 10 year old son how to drive the boat when he was 8. He can handle her in the channel without any problems. I told him if anything happens to me to just take us back to the launch ramp and put it on the beach, not to worry about the prop or scratching the bottom. Sad to say he knows more about the boat than the GF.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out and smokin, shouting "Holy Shit ...What A Ride!"

Mine drives ours all the time she will pull me water skiing and the kids on the towable. And take the girls on a booze cruise or for a ride. She will not pull up to a dock or take it off the trailer put it back on the trailer. She does a phenomenal job backing in the trailer in for launch or retrieval.

Kudos to all the women that either drive boat or launch it. I'm sure your mates are very proud of the confidence you have, I know I would be!

Seen some cool pics of Mrs 2FF and Mrs Daytona at the helm though. Hopefully Grads and 2FF post them

Let me see what I can dig up. Not only does she drive it, she has taken it out by herself (and a girlfriend). She drove our last boat at well over 100 m.p.h......not many women can say they've done that.

When I meet her in Havasu she had her own 21' Caliber 1 boat. We have a 25' Eagle now. She can drive it, launch it, retrieve it and back it uphill into our garage.
