How do these place crafts do as a "play boat"?

Maybe you should consider an old tri hull jet. They have miles of excess freeboard for those afraid of actually seeing the water they're traveling in.

The only jet boat Tri Hulls I can think of is a Keaton....and it definitely doesn't have the freeboard Grads is looking for.

I've seen that thing on Folsom. That is one jet boat that I would be seen in.

Plenty of manufacturers built tri hull jets including CP.
